To find the quotient of the decimal numbers, first make the numbers decimal free by adding 0’s to the right side to make the equal digits after decimal and then remove decimal.

To find the quotient $\frac{12.5}{5}$, first make the divisor decimal free by adding 0’s or removing equivalent digits of decimal from dividend.
