Integers include the positive and negative whole numbers including zero. An integer cannot be a decimal or fractional part with it.

The integers with negative sign decrease to the left of 0 on the number line and the positive integers increase to the right of 0 on the number line.

From the above number line plot, we can see that the integer –8 is the largest number with negative sign and to the leftmost, so it is the least integer from them all.

Then –5 is the next smallest number followed by –4.

Then 7 is the next number in increasing order followed by 15.

Thus, the integer in order from least to greatest is $-8,-5,-4,7,15$.
