An ordered pair is a combination of the x - coordinate and the y - coordinate, having two values written in a fixed order within parentheses.

The points are paired in the order $(x,y)$. In one pair, the first number denotes the x - coordinate and the second number denotes the y - coordinate.

For each pair $(x,y)$, to plot that particular point move number points along the horizontal x - axis, move towards right from origin if number is positive and if number is negative move towards left from origin.

Now from that point, move vertically parallel to y - axis to find the y -coordinate. Move up if the number is positive and move downwards if the number is negative. Then draw a point on that position. That point represents the pair $(x,y)$.

Here, the first point is $(−1,2)$ that is x- coordinate is and y - coordinate is 2.

Similarly for the other three pairs first number is x - coordinate and second number is y - coordinate.
