When compared to gene therapy, this gene system is simpler but more specific. In comparison to gene therapy, which requires the protein-DNA interface to be altered,$\text{CRISPR - Cas9}$simply need three component$\text{(Cas9, crRNA, and trRNA)}$to begin genome editing.

CRISPR-Cas 9 enables the insertion of a targeted gene that is superior in restoring normal protein function. It can also be used in embroys to delete the genes that can produce damaged protein.
