Collective exhaustiveness is the concept whereby all the subsets together account for every element in the original set. Essentially, when a set is partitioned, no element is left unassigned, and all subsets together bring back the entire original set.
Using set \(A = \{a, b\}\), one of the partitions, \(\{\{a, b\}\}\), satisfies the condition of being collectively exhaustive. Here's why:
