- Write general expression in fraction

Since, general expression in fraction is of the form $\frac{a}{b}$ but to perform subtraction and then division. Let general form be $\frac{a - b}{c}$

- Write required example

Substitute 9 for $a$ , 5 for $b$ and 2 for $c$ in general form

$\frac{9 - 5}{2}$

- Simplify 9-52

Subtract 5 from 9

$9 - 5 = 4$

Divide 4 by 2

$\frac{4}{2} = 2$

Thus, required example is $\frac{9 - 5}{2}$
