Well, a constructor's role is to handle the initial state of an object and not to pass information back to where it was called.

To ensure that constructors are not misunderstood as regular functions, the C++ language specification insists that they don't have a return type. This helps avoid confusion over the purpose of these special functions. Think about it; when you construct a building, the goal is to establish its structure, not to return a piece of the building back. Similarly, in C++, when a piece of code like Car myCar; is executed, a constructor just prepares the myCar object with the necessary setup and doesn't give back any data.

You might often hear the term class instantiation when discussing object-oriented programming in C++. Instantiation is the process of creating an actual object from a class template, bringing the theoretical structure of a class into a concrete existence in memory.

This is like making a cup of tea; you have the instructions (the class), but you don't get a drinkable tea until you've actually gone through the steps (instantiation). In code, when we write Car myCar;, we are instantiating an object of the Car class. The myCar object is a tangible instance that now occupies space in memory and is ready to be used in our program. It has characteristics and behaviors defined by its class specification. As part of the instantiation process, the appropriate constructor of the Car class is called automatically to ensure the myCar object is in a valid state when we start using it.
