• Base Pairing: The anticodon of tRNA binds to the matching codon of the mRNA in a process governed by base-pairing rules. Specifically, adenine pairs with uracil, and cytosine pairs with guanine. This ensures the accurate translation of mRNA into a polypeptide chain.

The accurate interaction and pairing between mRNA codons and tRNA anticodons guarantee that the right amino acids are incorporated into the growing protein.

The translation process is the second stage of protein synthesis, where the genetic code from mRNA is decoded to build a protein.
Translation occurs in the cytoplasm and involves several key components including ribosomes, mRNA, tRNA, and amino acids.

• Initiation: The ribosome assembles around the target mRNA to start the process. The first tRNA binds to the start codon of the mRNA.
• Elongation: The ribosome moves along the mRNA, and tRNA brings amino acids to the ribosome, matching their anticodons with the mRNA codons. This is where the growing polypeptide chain forms.
• Termination: When a stop codon on the mRNA is reached, the ribosome releases the completed polypeptide chain.
