Colligative properties can be defined as the property of a molecule, which depends upon the force of attraction between the molecules. The properties depend upon the number of moles of solute in a solvent. As the dilution of a solution increases, the colligative properties of a molecule change.

Electrolytes \ do not produce electricity when in the solid form whereas when an electrolyte dissociates into ions, it starts producing electricity.

The property that describes a strong electrolyte is its 鈥渃oncentration.鈥� A strong electrolyte can be defined as an electrolyte that can dissociate into ions completely and produces electricity. On a dilution, the ions of a strong electrolyte increases but a dissociation of the ions increases up to a certain extent after which a solvent starts to increase and form lesser ions. After a certain point, the electricity production decreases as, on dilution, the ions of the solution also decreases and the solution becomes 鈥渄ilute.鈥�
