Over 80% of the mass of the brain is made up of the cerebrum, which is the largest part of the brain. The frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital lobes are the four main divisions of the cerebrum that contribute define its activities. The cerebellum, which is located near the base of the brain, is thought to be a single structure.

The occipital lobe contains the primary visual cortex. Both hemispheres' occipital lobes house the primary visual cortex. The information sent from the retinas is received, processed, and integrated into this region of the brain.

a) The temporal lobe is situated at the temples on the side of the head. The hearing, memory, emotion, and language centres are all located in this area.

b) Frontal lobe: The frontal lobe is situated in front of the cerebral hemisphere. It regulates thinking, speaking, movement, and other functions.

c) The parietal lobe, which is located behind the frontal lobe and is connected to perceptions like touch, temperature, etc.
